We had lots of adventures on the honeymoon, and like you, were some of our favorite memories! Here's the annotated list:
-Getting a flat tire the morning after the wedding and having to change it before we could drive toward the airport.
-Pulling out of the nice hotel parking garage and having dear husband run over a barricade that was set off to the side. No sooner had I said, "Watch out for that barricade..." than WHAM! It was hitting the side of our truck and going under the tire. Whoops :)
-Can't forget about the first time we had sex and he accidentally head-butted me and left a huge welt on my head.
-My favorite: We took a hobie cat (little sailboat) out on the ocean by ourselves with very little instruction and no knowledge of sailing. We ended up getting stuck about a mile down shore on the rocky coastline, unable to catch the wind to take us back to the starting point. We had to wait for some guy to show up on a jet-ski and push us back to where we needed to go. We laughingly refer to that as the day we almost died.
Good times were had by all!
My husband and I have vacationed 3 times together (the 3rd being our honeymoon.) Well, during our first 2 vacations we completely unexpectantly saw fireworks. Neither time we went was during a holiday season & both times were completely random (the first was in Italy after a fashion show that we didn't know was going on & the second was just a random time in Cancun.) SO, when we went on our honeymoon, I thought "what are the chances that we will see fireworks again?" Well, its our first night and we are outside on our balcony looking over the bay & boom! Fireworks!! It appeard that some kids were prob goofing around because there was only about 3 total and they were quite small, but we could still see them!
I told my husband that the next time we go on vacation, I will be very disappointed if we don't see fireworks, I can't believe we are 3 for 3!

Any hiccups or unintended adventures during your honeymoon?
For us our unintended adventure ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We were in Jamaica (port antonio region) and decided to go on a run. We had seen a sign for a waterfall so decided to go see it on our run. Well we're not in a very populated area and this is apparently a mystery waterfall and only a few people seem to know where it is, or say 'thats too much in the bush for you'. So we're kinda getting to the point of turning back when we run into a rasta man farmer with a machete (it was very bush and everyone had a machete). He laughed at us trying to find it on our own and became our guide and took us to this amazing falls! It was such a neat adventure and we had no idea what we were getting into when we started - our run ended up being like 14 miles since we were lost - but really worth it.
