I’m about 8 DPO, and I know what I’m about to describe is not likely a pregnancy symptom, but it’s unusual for me so I thought it would be worth checking with you ladies to see if anyone experienced anythig similar before or around your BFP.
Starting yesterday I had terrible indigestion after I ate. I was burping constantly and had a bit of heartburn. Also, an hour or so after I ate, I went from feeling pretty full to what I would describe as painfully, almost nauseatingly full.
Today, I ate smaller, lighter meals, and I’m having the same issues, though not as severe.
I know this is just a quirky tummy thing that’s likely unrelated, but during the TWW everything becomes suspicious! 🙂
Did you have any tummy/digestive issues in the very early days of your pregnancy?

I was gassy and constipated.

I don’t believe I did. My symptoms were mostly cold-like symptoms which I never expected. You never know! My symptoms were definitely there by 8DPO and they changed as time went on. I had days where I was so wiped I couldn’t get off the couch and was soooo nauseous. I thought I just had a bug and then the super sniffer kicked in and my sense of smell was insane. Sorry you’re not feeling well. It will be interesting to see if any new symptoms show up and if you get a BFP.

I was constipated. I didn’t have heartburn until later in the pregnancy.

I was constipated before I got my bfp. It was actually the symptom that made me realize that there was a good chance I was pregnant and so I tested the morning after discovering this.

I just got my BFP today at 10 DPO and I have had indigestion and IBS like symptoms since 6 DPO.

I had heartburn prior to getting pregnant, and the symptoms have gotten progressively worse as my pregnancy has progressed! I did have some indigestion issues early on, but they were mild. Now that I’m almost 27 weeks, I have what you’re describing. It doesn’t matter what I eat or drink, I will always have heartburn.
I know you’re probably just trying to see if you’re pregnant, but if it gets really uncomfortable for you, have a Tums. They’re mostly calcium, and my doc said I can pretty much pop them like candy! I find that they do help relieve mild heartburn or indigestion.

I had the worst diarrhea ever before I got mine. Very gassy also…. unreasonably so.
