I have not. However, the reviews for Diana’s Couture and Bridal shop in Georgetown (DC) seems good. Sorry I don’t have any pricing information for you, but I doubt it would be comparable to having your dress made through an online vendor just b/c it’s always cheaper to have a dress made overseas.

I had a bridesmaid dress custom made by Sheryl Kelm in Pasadena. She also did alterations to the wedding dresses for myself and 4 of my girlfriends. We all adore her.

lovekiss:  Do you have a picture of your wedding dress? I was actually considering taking my dress to Sheryl Kelm (once I get it in February) b/c I heard she was really good with alterations. I didn’t realize she can custom make wedding dresses too.

dojx: My dress was an Ian Stuart with tons of boning in the bodice. Sheryl did a fantastic job with my alterations. I had to have the dress let out (I gained weight. oops), had a French bussle put in, had the bust let out, and had it hemmed, all for under $200 (but that was 3 years ago).
