ooooh I looove Romona Keveza, and that one is DEFINITELY gorgeous and deifnitely bridal. I tried on like 50. and when I put mine on I LOVED it. I knew it was mine. I didnt get the teary eyed happy cry, shaking thing, thats just not me. But if you keep comparing every single one to that and cannot top it, thats it. A lot of girls look for the "OH MY GOD!" signs, but nt everyone has them. That dress is beautiful and elegant and classic
Those dresses are very beautiful and very bridal. I love the Romona Keveza. I think if you love it and love how it makes you feel, then you should get it! It doesn't matter how many dresses you try on.
HA im an idiot and I thought they were the same dress! They are both Romonas right? I like the bottom one better. You should add a poll to this link to get a feel for the overall vibe
I thought they were the same dress, too until I saw someone else's post. I can't tell you which would look better since they both look the same, but both are gorgeous! Probably not what you wanted to hear. lol.
i see the differences now that Im looking ( different ruching, diff top, belt, etc) but I think I ned to see the top one striaght on to be sure. I searched the RK site. Found the second one but if I did see the first one I skipped over it. I loooove that second dress!
(First off, go Nebraska!)
I've tried on tons of dresses at tons of stores--in Kansas City, Omaha, Lincoln and Saratoga Springs. I think I could try on dresses for months and not find one that made me cry. Oh wait...that's what I've BEEN doing. ^_^ There's no shame in looking around a little longer if you're afraid that you're rushing into the decision.
Personally, I'm over the whole "Oh you'll know the one as soon as you try it on!" It's not going to happen for me, so I've narrowed it down to, like, 5-6 dresses (oh yeah, real narrow) and I'm choosing a dress by committee--my mom, sister and FMIL. But that's what works for me. ^_^
These are both beautiful dresses and I agree with the others that the Romona Keveza is drop dead gorgeous! Good luck! ^_^
I like both as well. Fabric is gorgeous.
Both of my daughters found their dresses in one trip at the same bridal salon. DD#1 got the very first one she tried (but we made her try on a dozen more just just to be sure), and DD#2 got the 4th one she tried. We all knew at the same time......they both took my breath away and they just seemed to glow when they came out!
OK, I added a poll, but thanks for all the comments!
Now I don't feel quite as bad that I'm not really looking everywhere - I don't have the time to do it anyways!
They are different dresses, but I can see the confusion. The first is fitted all the way to mid-thigh, then poofs; the second poofs beginning right around my natural waist.
I really love the second dress - but I'm more of an a-line girl. Go back, try them both on, and if you feel like one is "your" dress ... then go for it!
I'm more of an A-line girl, but the mermaid one is GORGEOUS! Don't overthink it and go with the one you love!
Both dresses are gorgeous so you really can't go wrong :) If you aren't totally sure, I wouldn't rush into buying your gown...you still have some time to order it! I voted for the first gown because it is very elegant and beautiful!!
They're both really pretty dresses, but I'd encourage you to try a few more on before making a decision. From your post, you still sound unsure, and I'd hate to see you come to regret your decision. I know dress shopping can be difficult, but go again, bring your camera and a trusted friend (or a good cell phone camera in case the places won't 'let' you take pics), and try on LOTS of dresses. Take pictures of everything, fronts, backs, etc.
You'll either find a dress you love, or you can find similarities in what you like and figure out what dress is good for you. :)
Also, a LOT of dresses look totally different on models than they do on real women - there's an active thread about just that right now!

I've only been shopping once, but found two dresses that I adore and look fabulous on me. Thing is, I didn't know in the store which was "my" dress. I'm going back tomorrow to try them both on again and, I think, get one, but am I rushing things? Should I go try on a bunch of other dresses too?
I did look at more dress pictures and keep comparing it to the one in my head, but... I only looked at 10 dresses!
Thoughts? Did you know right away, or did you have to mull it over?
PS: my dresses! I'd appreciate any votes on which you would choose... it's a big-enough Catholic wedding in Nebraska, but I'd like everyone to say, oh yeah, she looks fab and is definitely a bride!
