I’ve always wanted to have a display of weddinG family photos on the big day. It’s taken a couple of years of planning with my mum even bringing some back from o/s.
well guess what- yep- cannot find them anywhere! I remember putting them somewhere really safe…. And that’s it. House will be tirnes upside down in the next few days.
So, did you lose anything before the big day? Did you find it? (Pls give me hope!!)

We lost our cake stand the day of the wedding. It was a specific stand I had picked out and bought and it just disappeared. I sent my poor FI home to look for it and everything.
Finally it was found by someone at the venue, but it ended up not being sturdy enough to hold the cake anyway! ARGH!

The Church misplaced our pew bows!
I found them whie getting ready (10 minutes before guests started arriving), and I was like “Oh, no! They forgot them!”
My sister with extreme anxiety immediately grabbed them, said “I got this”, and apparently hunted down the best man AND our DOC and told them to put them up as fast as humanly possible!
It was pretty awesome!

I lost my engagement ring two weeks before the wedding! Thank god I found it a few days later!
I also lost family photos that we were planning on displaying at the reception. Luckily my dad found them in a box that morning.

I lost our marriage license!!! I remember we went down to the courthouse and picked it up a few weeks before and putting it in my car, but I have no idea what I did with it after that! I didn’t even think about it until the afternoon before our wedding! We ended up getting married without it, then going down to the courthouse the Monday after our wedding and getting a new one! Thankfully our pastor understood and he still married us! The secretaries at the courthouse told us quite a few horror stories about people who didn’t realize they needed one or lost it, and the priest or pastor refused to marry them without it. By the way, I STILL have no idea what I did with the original one. And my husband has learned that he is in charge of all important papers! Lol!

@MissPixie: lol – that is a little bit funny. i bet you are glad that it all worked out! I’m your original license & my photos are hanging out in the work of the unknown.
I did almost turn on FI in a state of desperation ‘ you should have been watching where i place important stuff’!! But i held my tongue… 🙂
