I can definately see us getting teary-eyed. I balled my eyes out when he proposed (which I really never imagined I would do). And he teared up (a little) as well. Just looking at his eyes when I start to walk down the isle may make me choke up ;)
I figured I would not cry. In situations like that I tend to emotionally shut down and just live the moment. I did see my husband get a little teary but I think my in-check emotions helped him as well!!
I rarely cry in front of others. I only cry when I am really sad or upset. I am not a happy tears kind of girl. Who knows though, maybe it will change on the wedding day.
My voice cracked during the vows, but I managed to keep it together.
Oh I definitely think I will cry although I will try like heck not to LOL. I always cry at friends weddings....thank goodness for waterproof mascara!
I didn't cry any tears, but in our video you can clearly see me blinking furiously to keep them at bay!
We're both so emotional, I'm sure we'll both be a mess. Heck, I cry just THINKING about the big day (seeing him for the first time, dance with daddy, dance with him, etc!) that I know I'll be a ball of tears when we finally get there! :)
I have this fear that I will start laughing! I sometimes do this when I get nervous.
I think we will both cry. Even thinking about it, when I'm alone, makes me teary eyed.
I cried during our vows. Not full on bawling (which I embarassingly did during the *rehearsal*), but I did need a tissue and my voice got a little froggy during some words. My girls (MOH and bridesmaid) also cried. DH nearly cried, same for the best man, groomsman, and my dad! Out of the bunch, I'm the only one who's normally a "cryer".
My husband and I both got teary eyed during the ceremony. It was a very personal ceremony as our Rev was a close personal friend, but he mixed in a good laugh whenever I was about to cry!
My voice shook a little during the hymns we sang, but the big waterworks for the day had to go to my husband and his dad (our officiant). Their entire family (excepting the 17 year old kid sister) is or was a member of the military, so we had the Navy hymn with verses for all of our family's branches (Army, Coast Guard, and Air Force). I think my husband made it to his service's verse before he broke down, but his dad was already gone by verse 2!
However, during the vows, we didn't cry at all. I was just too happy!
I expect I will cry, although I hope I don't! Maybe I should practice...
I probably will cry. Latley I've been crying at all the weddings I see on TV, so I know if I 'm crying at those, I will be crying at my own. I just hope I don't get ugly cry face or end up with snot on my cheek. ![]()
I was fully prepared to cry but instead I started to crack up when I realized the minister had our vows wrong. At least he got the names right.
I'm a bit sad I didn't get to say the vows we wrote but I'm glad I was in such a happy mood that day that I could laugh it off and not ruin my wedding day.
We got teary (especially me) during our vows. We wrote our own vows and kept them a secret from ech other, but told each other we couldn't get through them without crying. But I think all that practicing made it easier to keep things together on the wedding day.
I know we're going to cry.. Just before he proposed he got all misty eyed... I knew something was up right then and there!
I am a total cryer...I cry at EVERYTHING...seriously, dog food commercials, the ending of Cool Runnings, everything!
But I didn't cry at our wedding...except for one part during our vows where I got a ball in my throat and couldn't choke out the word 'promise'.
I have a feeling I will cry. If my dad cries, I will cry for sure. I'm not sure if fiance will cry. If both he and my dad are crying though? I won't have a chance!
I'm probably going to be a big mess, I get teary eyed when we start having serious conversation about it... I'm trying to decide whether or not makeup would be a smart choice- I want to look great and all but I can't imagine it stay on very well with tissues and tears...
I'm a big-time cryer too, and my husband tears up at sweet things too sometimes. But neither one of us cried during our vows. I think it was willpower---I knew if I started crying I would probably be hiccuping and sobbing, and I didn't want to miss any of the ceremony or not get to say any of my vows! I did cry later in the day though because I was so happy.
I'm a crier, so I'm sure I will cry at some point. He might too, he's pretty emotiona when its just me and him, but the emotion of the day might just get to him

Just curious.
It is very rare that either my FI or I cry (I think we've each seen the other cry one time in three years), but I get the feeling we're both going to get teary during vows.
What about you?
