I didn't because it was July, 92 degrees, and I was already hot enough in my dress as it was.

No! My dress is long and we're getting married in July...so I'll be hot enough as it is. :) If I were wearing a short dress I'd consider it because I wear them for work, but since my dress is long I don't think there's a need to.

I'm wearing stockings and suspenders (1950s-style) under my dress. Makes shoes a lot more comfortable too.

No freakin' way. I NEVER wear pantyhose. They give me a nails-on-a-chalkboard feeling and make me gag. Lol I know that's probably weird, but it's been like that since I've been a little girl. I can't stand the way they feel.

I'm getting married in the winter so yes! Although pantyhose can't really claim to keep me very warm.. I'm also banking on them making the shoes more comfortable as a pp had said.

    No pantyhose EVER!!!!

I will wear tights, but draw the line at pantyhose. I once refused an internship in Congress because of the pantyhose requirement...

Nope. And I'm getting married in January (3 days!!). My mom thinks I am, but I hate them, and all the layers of my dress keep my legs warm enough. She'll find out once I'm dressed and they aren't on.

Gah. I don't want to. For realsies. Don't want to at all... However... I'll be getting married in December and am not wearing typical heels, so I'm considering it. Oh, and my Grandma (not that it reeeally matters) made a HUGE stink when my cousin's wife didn't wear "stockings" at their wedding.... Good gracious.

i didn't realize so many women were against them!  I might have to rebel and quit wearing them myself, now that I know so many others don't. :)  I had to really sit and think about whether I wore them at my wedding last May (I did).  I had planned to, but in the midst of the rush to get dressed, I felt like perhaps I had forgotten.  I think the only reason I wear them is because I am dreadfully pale (we're talking, "my skin turns a bad color of purple when I am cold-kind-of-pale"!).

Nope!  And my stepmom had a cow!  I never wear them in warmer weather but I had purchased a pair because stepmom had convinced me that wearing a pair would hold things in a little bit and help me look better in my dress.  But, as I was getting dressed right before the ceremony I couldn't find the pantyhose anywhere!   So, I went without - which is what I really wanted to do anyway.

I also had to think about this but I'm pretty sure I wore them for the ceremony because I had closed toe shoes and they make shoes more comfortable. I know I didn't wear the m with my reception dress though so maybe I didn't wear them at all...i love tights so I just think of 'hose as skin colored tights not like they were visable under my dress anyway.

Definitely not wearing them for my June beach wedding! That would just be putting myself through torture.

I got married in the dead of the Canadian winter and didn't even wear them.  No one saw my legs and my dress kept my legs plenty warm.

No way - I never wear them anyway, so I definitely won't be wearing them on my wedding day in the middle of summer.

I wear pantyhose/tights most of the time when my legs are showing... I just hate my legs and it makes them look much nicer.

My dress is knee length and I'm wearing a pair with a backseam to add some interest. I was thinking of a white lace pair like @unixfairy: but decided I didn't want to distract from the lace in the dress.

Plus with my nerves i've broken out with a patch of eczema on my calf... not horrible but would be totally noticeable if my legs were completely bare.

I loathe pantyhose with a passion. I only wear them when I want to wear my spring and summer dresses at work. But if I don't have to wear them I won't wear them. I'm not a huge fan of tights either but they are much more comfy then pantyhose.
