We fed them but we had a buffet so it was all included for us.

We can provide seperate vendor meals, and they’re only about $10 each, or we can let them eat from the buffet.

Yes. Our caterer included vendor meals (DJ, photographer & his second shooter) for free. Our officiant was a charged meal, because he sat at a family table.

Yes we did. They came up and individually thanked us for a full meal And commented how they were always hungry at other weddings. This was for the dj , videographers and photographers They had their own table.

Yes.  Our photographer, videographer, and DJ all ate the same meal we were having — a combination plate of filet of beef and shellfish, along with accompaniments and a salad; however, the venue charged us half price for the three vendor meals.

@targetlover:

           In some of our contracts (such as DJ and Photographers) its bulit in that they get a meal (only seems fair as they start as early as we do and are with us all day long). We haven’t met with the venue for a tasting and talking about the meals to know what our vendor meals will cost. We are prepared to pay the same as any other guest because we are having a plated meal.

Yes we did, our photographers brought bagged lunches but we told them they could have anything we were offering. Our dj had two plates. Lol

We provided a meal for all our vendors (that weren’t reception-affiliated, like the banquet manager or servers). We paid the same amount as we did for guests–But that meant it was $17/pp before tax/grat.

@targetlover:  It is in our contract with the photographer, videographer and Dj that we have to provide meals. The venue charges 1/2 what we are paying per guest, for each vendor meal.

Yep, sure will. Not our musicians as we are only having them for one hour for ceremony, but we have to feed (it’s in the signed contract) our 2 photographers and our 2 videographers. We are also feeding the DJ since he wil be there from 5pm-midnight. It’s costing each person just over a $100. Yell Ugh, I cringe every time I think we’re spending over $500 to feed people that we’re paying thousands of dollars to already, but, I get it. They’re working a 10+ hour day, so I do get it, even though I like to complain about it, cause it still sucks.

@targetlover:  No, I don’t think so. Seriously, they can eat before they come and then they can grab something to eat when they finish, if they are hungry.
