my package came with an album, but i would’ve bought one anyway b/c i’m sure it’ll turn out nicer than the one on shutterfly i made.  we were only able to pick 45 out of 350ish pics the photographer took, so i ended up making another one with more pics on my own.

Mine didn’t come with an album.  I just didn’t want to pay for it at the time.  I am able to order one from her at a later point if I want or I can make my own.  I ordered an 8×8 (22 page) one for my parents online and if I like the way theirs comes out I will order mine online.  I paid about $100 for theirs.  I wouldn’t use Shutterfly or anything similar to that because I hate the way they design their layouts and I don’t think they’re super nice quality.  I would rather pay more for one from my photographer than one from one of those sites.  I would like thick, lay-flat pages versus the book style.

Having the same dilemma….I saw an amazon deal for a bound album/photo book and I thought to myself…ooo I could do that lol It’s only $20 but I might be too lazy and I’m not sure about the quality. With our photographer it’d be about $500 more so I might need to tap into my creative juices to save some coins!

Here’s the deal if you want to check it out!

I prefered making my own.  I’m way too picky to allow someone else to make my album.

Our package included an album and I have yet to get it. We got married in May 2012. The album designer isn’t very professional and as they cannot seem to figure out how to make a decent album have left it to us to design. Needless to say I’m not too pleased.

@marinewife4:  our package came with 1 big main albulm and 2 parent albulms, but they threw in 1 extra parent albulm for us.

I made my own using adoramapix since I had the rights to the photos, my friend got one from her photographer and it is probably better quality than mine but contains less pictures and was much more expensive. Honestly for what I wanted the one I made is just as good.

My package came with print credit, but we decided to print our own album (using the print credit for another shoot).  We went through shutterfly and purchased a 23 page hardcover, layflat album (8×11) for $38 including shipping.
