I know you can get sparkly flats like this by Steve Madden, with a quick search online. They might even be at Target/TJ Maxx at this point.

Most men’s dress shoes have a 1.5 inch heel.  My fiance and I are also the same height, and I found these heels that are 2.5 or 2.75 inches.  I stood next to him while he wore his dress shoes, and we looked perfect together!  🙂

They’re Caparros Violetta and super sparkly in person. This photo doesn’t do them justice.

If you really want flats though, these are some of the other ones I considered.

Vince Camuto – Timba – also super sparkly

Steve Madden – Vegass – really pretty in person

I bought some from sole society that I LOVED online, but they were much darker when they arrived. Still cute though, but I’m not sure if I’ll use them for the wedding. The first pic is what they really look like, the bottom picture is the one from the website. Sorry if the pictures are huge!!

I’m considering wearing TOMS for my wedding, who knew they actually have a bridal collection??  They’re super comfortable and I definitely need flats because I am about a half inch taller than my fiance and several inches taller than his entire family.

@Christy42213:  I can’t help but comment I’ve NEVER seen mens dress shoes with 1.5 inch heels in … at least 10 states (very conservative guess) in my 18 adult years.  Cowboy boots are the normal that would get a man 1.5 inch heels but aren’t “dress shoes” in all geographic areas (though they are in some and personally they are my favorite footwear for me personally!).  Seriously, I’ve never seen a mens normal dress shoe with more than half an inch heel (incuding regular sole) and that’s being generous!  Unless the man is short and wearing platform shoes which is a whole different thing!  I’m sorry but misinformation makes me twitchy!!!

@Nel13:  I did use shoes for my wedding that looked just like @Christy42213:‘s “Vince Camuto – Timba – also super sparkly” in her post.  They were gold with a tiny bow and only $20 at some random mall store (“discontinued style” months ago or I’d specify).  I looked at so many flats that were $70+ it was insane.  Blah, not being a fancy shoe person I wanted fun flat shoes but ones I wouldn’t care if I spent money on for a special day and never wore again lol.

@MrsTangerine:  Well, I measured my fiance’s dress shoes so it’s not “misinformation.”  They don’t look high…the sole is .5 inch and the heel is an additional 1 inch.  They look like perfectly normal men’s shoes.  So, I don’t know what to tell you…they’re Clark’s.
