I forget how much mine cost but I don’t recommend buying bc then you have to worry about ironing/steaming, laundering and transporting them. Much easier (in my opinion) to pay someone to do it.

Mine were close to 800.00 for 5 tables, chair covers + bows for 40, 1 sweetheart and 1 cake table. Pretty pricey but that was one of the things I signed for when I was in a bad mood and didn’t feel like looking for a better deal. Plus, I like the owner of the company — she was so nice and sweet.

I think my table linens were around 40-50 dollars each, with cake and sweetheart table being pricier (like 60) because of the draping and double linen. My chair covers were around 7 (bow included) oh yeah and I got napkins. I think those were 2 or 3.00 each.

I definitely picked a top tier company with a reputation for being amazing but also very pricey.

DO NOT buy them. Don’t do that to yourself. You’ll have to iron them, transport them to the venue, possibly have to resteam them to get creases out again, and then take them all off again and transport them dirty when your home….and then clean them. And satin is probably polyester that has to be dry cleaned!

Seriously, just pay the money to rent. I’m not sure what satin should cost – I had regular old white linens and I think it was $10 a table or something?

I agree with a PP, buying them won’t save you that much and it’ll be a hassle to transport/clean/re-sell etc. We are renting satin pintucks and I asked our rental company to price-match another company… They ended up being $13 per 60″ round table. Most linens are the same, regardless of where you get them, so paying more for the same thing didn’t make sense to me. I’d shop around for a reliable, but more affordable company or at least ask them to price match.

@Jshedrick84:  my linens were included in the venue rental and then i bought my runners.   i did check out rentals and they were fairly comparable with each other.

i would suggest going online or calling other rental companies in your area to compare the prices.   i think that prices will vary depending on your location.  fyi, in my area, specialty linens like that were around $16 each to rent.

@Jshedrick84:  I’m not sure what part of MD you’re in but that’s what I was qouted for linen.  We ended up using our caterers linen for half the price of the linen company.

@Jshedrick84:  Satin of course will cost you more but, $26 doesn’t seem unreasonable.  I am renting 120″ round polyester for $14.95 each and paying $20 each for the head/ serving tables.
