I was thinking about renting silver chargers for the reception. So far I’ve only found one rental company who has them for .70 per plate.
If you used them, were you happy with the layout of the tables with them? Does this seem like a reasonable price quote?

I used chargers only because I was having a black/white and teal wedding and didn’t have much teal color on the tables (there are no teal flowers) so I need a splash of color. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have bought them. Now, I’m off to trying to sell them!
Here’s a picture for inspiration.

I love the look of them, but didn’t use them because of the extra cost. I chose, instead, to put the money towards something else.

We’ll be using them. I’m excited as I just think they make tables look so great.

I want to use chargers, but unfortunately chargers are large and would mean we could fit less place settings at each table. Since we’re going to be operating pretty much at maximum capacity, we are not having them 🙁

Depends on your budget. I think the look is great and if we could, maybe I’d spend some money on them, but we have a similar problem to amandopolis. If I were doing them, .70/each wouldn’t sound too bad but I have nothing to compare to

I am not using them due to cost and the amount of space they will take up on the table. We have a small reception space and we need to fit lots of people at the tables!

We’re using them…in fact, I don’t know what we’re going to do with them after (they’re silver and we have at least 160) so if you’re interested in buying them after April 25 let me know!

I purchased acrylic chargers for my reception with every intention of selling them afterwards. Maybe you could buy acrylic chargers (much cheaper!) and sell them later?

I love the look of chargers. Especially if you are having a plated meal, that way the people know where NOT to put their purses so that the servers don’t have to ask them to move things when they serve the meal.

@nada122: Do you still have the teal chargers?
