Mine started late but I knew it would. My guests are notoriously late to events. So I gave them an earlier start time and there was still barely anyone there when we wanted to start.  Our hotel was nearby so my usherettes kept me informed, they didnt want me to arrive there while the church was empty. once we had a decent number of guests we told the  limo driver to take us to the church. When we arrived a lot of guests were just arriving so we had to wait for them all to be seated and then we went in. My Mother-In-Law was also late, she got lost apparently, so I had to wait for her to arrive as well.

Ours was on time, as far as I know. We may have been behind by a couple of minutes.

As close to on-time as possible. I think we were like 5 minutes late but in wedding land, that’s pretty damn close to perfect.

We started almost 30 minutes late. The venue was good to go – my 4 month old niece was not!

I was an hour late to my own wedding but I swear it wasn’t my fault. The limo was very late and then got stuck in a traffic jam caused by an accident. I think my H started to think I had changed my mind! Made worse that we didn’t have a phone on us (destination wedding) because H had it!

On time, pics ran a little late but we had a 30 minute buffer planned before the ceremony.

We were a few minutes late starting because apparently the groom and groomsmen where confused about how to they were getting to the ceremony spot. For whatever reason they didn’t just hop in one of their cars and drive they instead had my mom’s boyfriend make two trips to drive them over. I am still not sure why there was so much confusion, but in the end we were only a couple minutes late at most.

I’m pretty sure we were right on time. I guess we could have been 5 minutes late, but I don’t think so. My DOC was on top of things, so we kept really closely to our schedule.

We started on time, but we “broke” the rule by asking our guests to come a half hour early…

We started 30 min late, but that’s because the officant was 30 min late. Our wedding planner almost had to marry us!

As long as we have the bride, groom, and reverend, we’re starting on time. My parents and all my bridesmaids are spending the night before the wedding in the hotel and the groomsmen are spending the morning-of with the groom. I have a few friends who run 2 hours late to things with definite start times (concerts, movies, prom haha). After I enter, the coordinator will be closing the doors to the ceremony since we’re in a hotel and I don’t want to hear people in the hall. I’m thinking of making a sign for the door.

I want to have as much time for photos as possible during cocktail hour, so I don’t want to lose that time (and the daylight)
