Bees, did your dress come before, on or after the estimated time provided by the salon from which you bought the dress?
I said yes to a Stella York and they said it would be in within 6 months. I’m kind if hoping they get it earlier! 6 months is so long and I am starting to worry about dress regret because I am seeing all these beautiful dress threads! I am terrible at waiting for things…

@Carmabelle: I ordered mine through DB in late September and they told me 22 weeks – it arrived 10 days later, there was apparently one already made in their warehouse.

Way, way, way, way, way, way, way after. I was told 6 months, probably a little sooner. It took 11 months almost to the day.

My dress came about a month before they said it would. 🙂

My dress was from Maggie’s 6-week-rush line, and it came in just over 3 weeks!

My Maggie came in after 5 months and the estimate was 6 months (:

They told me 9 months, it took 7. I feel like a lot of places do that on purpose just in case there are any delays, and then also you feel so excited when you find out it’s early!!

Way sooner. I had purchased it in July, it was scheduled to be ready in December. I got a call a few days ago that it’s ready!

Bought in March, was told August arrival, and I got it in May!

Thanks, seems like there is a trend towards getting it earlier! I bought it in September, I’m hoping it will be in early January. For some reasons I am worried about the size that they ordered.

Mine was a little early but they gave me a pretty big arrival window. They told me late September or early October when I ordered it in March. It was here sometime in early September.

I ordered my dress in early July and got a letter in the mail 2 days ago saying it had arrived. Isn’t it better to be over quoted then have to wait longer then expected =)

@lizardloo: OMG. obviously you purchased it way before your wedding though, so maybe they knew that and that had somethign to do with it? This just gave me a panic attack though. I ordered mine sept, due in jan, and my wedding is march so I can’t afford a delay like that!

I ordered mine in mid July, was told it would be in around mid November, but it actually turned up in the middle of September! I was very chuffed!
