My wedding is in 2 weeks. I picked up my dress last weekend and it fit... I'd say perfectly, so not much room for any change. It's at my parents' house so I won't see it until the wedding weekend. I keep having this crazy fear that I will put it on and suddenly it will be way too tight and we won't be able to zip it up, or I won't be able to breathe! I'm eating the way I always do, not changing anything... but still... crazy things can happen right? Like putting on a few pounds over a week or two?

Please tell me I'm nuts. Did any of you married brides have this fear? And did anyone's dress NOT fit them on the big day (I hope not!!)?

You will be just fine! Don't worry - it will fit just fine! Even if it's a couple pounds, you'll be okay.  Definitely take care of yourself between now and the wedding, but DONT WORRY! :)  Hugs!

My dress did not fit on my wedding day.  It fit perfectly when I picked it up from the seamstress but on the actual day (a week later) it was so loose it wouldn't stay up.  If you aren't prone to big weight fluctuations I'm sure you will be fine :)

With only a little bit of time left until your wedding, I think you'll be fine.  I actually ended up losing a few lbs the last couple days before my wedding, probably due to stress...I wasn't looking to lose weight, just happened but the dress still fit the same :)

Just relax, I'm sure your dress will fit fine. Even if you gain or lose a few pounds, it shouldn't make a different.  In the last month and a half before my wedding I pretty much stopped eating because I just didn't have time so I lost about 7 pounds.  I had a fitting a week before the wedding and had the dress taken in more.  On the day of the wedding, it fit fine even though I lost about 2 pounds since that last fitting.  Seriously, a few pounds won't make a difference.

@Wigglewagon: Mine did too!!  I was running around like crazy the week before and must have just lost 5 extra pounds I didn't want to lose.  My dress was slightly big, but my mom pinned me good and it worked out.  I wish it hadn't happened, but it really wasn't a huge deal in the end.
