My wedding is in about 7 months and I have been seriously procastinating with my so called diet. lol But I’m really serious now and I want to lose weight the healthy way.. no crash diets.
I want to lose about between 20-30lbs before my big day- mainly in the arms. I already ordered my dress in a size 14, but that was because of my bust area. The sales rep said I was a 12 everywhere else. Anyway, my question to you is.. if you had lost that much weight, did the dress looks different on you than when you ordered it? I’m worried it’s going to look completely different and I’m going to regret my dress choice..

@futuremrspaulino: I don’t think it’s anything that alterations couldn’t fix. As long as you feel good about yourself, you’ll feel good about your dress. 🙂

I have my fittings next week and have unfortunetly gained some of the weight back but when I went for my consult I had lost about 40 pounds and the semstress had no problems with making my dress look amazing and even better than before. With all this being said dress regret will come and go. Just keep in mind all the reasons you loved your dress in the first place. Ive lost about 4 inches around the waist and underbust but have gained 1 inch in the hip so we will see what happens next week.
