I just had mine the other day, and I made sure to wash my makeup off and undo my hair befor he could see me, so no, he did not see me after I had mine done. I really want it to be a surprise.
He saw me after a partial make-up trial and it is NOT like he's going to remember what I looked like. He's a guy; just sayin'.
nope! i hid at my friend's house all night to see how it held up, then took it out and washed my face before heading home to bed.
I would let my SO see me. We're not super traditional. If I didn't want him to see me though, I'd plan a girls night...no use letting that hair and makeup go to waste (plus then you really get to see how it holds up).
I don't plan in hiding it from him. I will want his opinion and in all honesty, it will be the only time he will really notice it. Because ON our wedding day he will be focusing on the dress and waiting to get me out of it! I also think that hair and make-up is only a small part of the wedding ensemble. It will look way different once it is all put together.
He saw my makeup but as my hair trial was only a rough one I had already taken it out.
His comment on the makeup was "You look blurry"!
Yeah, he picked me up from getting it done. He looked really freaked out - it was probably one of the weirdest looks on his face I'd ever seen. Because of that, we decided that it needed to be toned down...
Mine did. But then again, she was having her own hair and make-up trial with the same person. ;-)
Actually I just had mine last week. We were on a weekend wedding crash course for our DW. I got my hair&makeup trial done then immediatly went to take e-pics. I had my hairstylist take my hair down so he wouldnt see the style but left my make up the same.
Yeah DH did. I came home after my hair and makeup trial and since we lived together he saw it.
I'm questioning this same thing. Getting mine done then doing bridal portraits then me and FH are meeting with the Deacon. I don't want him to see it but I don't want to take it off either :( I'll probably take my hair down or something. I think its going to be a game-time decision
I am having my hair trial and make up trial done on the same day in order to do my bridal portraits that day also...I will probably have it all off by the time FI gets home from work that day. HE is actually concerned about it being a surprise then I am!
Yes, I actually made a point of it - I'm normally really casual and wear my hair very simply and very little makeup. I wanted to make sure that the hair and makeup I was planning on still looked "like me" to him.
I had mine done before a friend's wedding, so I could see how it really held up. My husband (then FI) saw me after, although the hair wasn't exactly what we were going to do at the actual wedding. Like others said, I wanted to get his opinion on the make up, since there have been other times I've gotten my makeup done and he thought I looked better the way I do it myself. He also saw my shoes before the wedding, but not my dress.
Yes, of course!! I never wear make-up so it was important to me that he see and like it. As for the hair trial - well with my hair done up, it was an excellent excuse to go out to a fancy dinner! I don't think anything will be taken away from the whole wedding look if he only sees your hair and makeup done - it isn't like you'll be wearing your gown also!

Tomorrow I am having my hair and makeup trial done. I was just curious, did your FI's see you after you had yours done?
