I live with my FI so its hard to hide it. But, I think not letting him see it is preferable.
But since he did see it, I was able to gauge his response... and I think he'd say I look beautiful no matter what.. so it really doesn't matter!
Yup! My DH was home when the hair/makeup ladies came to our apartment to do my trial.
I had my hair trial in the hotel. I brought a picture with me to show the lady what I want, but since I don't speak Spanish and my hubby is fluent in Spanish, he had to stay and do the translation for me :)
Mine didn't see it. But, that's only because I was wearing it curly and down, and my curls didn't hold for very long (that was on purpose, the stylist didn't want to start the curls off too tight the way she normally would because she wanted me to see how it would actually look).
It might be good to let him see it because you can get his reaction. Plus, you get to have nice hair for your engagement pictures!
He most likely will, since I'm getting it done on a Sunday. I'm not too concerned though, because I don't know which style I'll wear all day afterwards -- and even if that'll be the one I'm having for the wedding!
I live with mine, so it was hard to hide it when I got home. I didn't want him to, but we're also going to change some things about it (which is, of course, why you do the hair trial) so not only will it not look exactly the same, but I think you'll always look much different with your makeup and dress on. So it's not like he's seeing the exact look!
FI saw two of my trials, which didn't work out, but the last one that I just had, he didn't see it, because it worked out well and I want it to be a surprise. It's not bad to have him see it so that he can give you a little suggestion.
Haha, he didn't! I managed to kick Mr. Bruschetta out of the apartment when I was heading home afterwards in full wedding hair and makeup. I love that my whole wedding day look continues to be a surprise!
i lived with my fiance when i did my trial.
it was a lot different on the actual day (because of the extensions) so it was still a surprise.
Well he knows what I dont want but not what I want to do or the ideas my stylist and I are talking about. The Mr is really into being surprised and so am I
Mine didn't because he was off at his bachelor party. If he were around, I wouldn't have wanted him to see it anyways because I wanted to surprise him.
Yes, and he hated it. I highly recommend letting him see it in advance if you think he'll be at all picky about what your hair looks like. My fiance would have been really disappointed because he said I looked nothing like myself. Good to know, and now I have time to regroup!

When you did your hair trial, did your FI see the result.
FI and I live pretty far away from where the wedding is being held (in my home state). We are going next weekend for engagement photos and to do the last of the major planning. I was planning to do my hair trial that day. I am curious to see if other people let their FIs see how they are wearing their hair in advance of the big day.
If I don't do it next weekend, I may not get a chance to do a trial until the week of the wedding.
