My FI was so nervous proposing (he was shaking a little bit and almost happy-crying) that he reached for my right hand. I just wiggled my left fingers to nudge him in the right direction.
It was really sweet and kind of adorable that he was so nervous – he knew I would say yes!
Just out of pure curiosity, I wondered if this happened to other bees.

Yes! He picked up my right hand then went ‘Oops, it’s the other one isn’t it?’

I gave him my hand so he didn’t have to figure out which one!

Haha I stuck out my left hand and he said “isn’t it the other hand?”. I laughed:)

He was saying these romantic words and trying to grab for my right hand and I was like, shoving my left hand in his face. But in the end he realized and grabbed the left hand. Hahaha. He knew what to do, but he apparently was too nervous and forgot. It’s funny because he’s usually so calm and collected. D’awww.

I had a promise ring that I had to take off before he could put the engagement ring on. It made it pretty simple.

Poor guy couldn’t even put it on me, I grabbed the ring from him and put it on myself 🙂 I am a little ashamed of this but, oh well! Ha

He didn’t. First he opened the box upside down. Then, since he was flustered from that, he wanted to give me the ring to put on myself. I told him no, he had to do it, and gave him the right hand.

Nope, he did just fine. However, during our wedding he gave me his right hand for the ring and not his left….our comments about it during the ceremony were too funny. Thankfully we are good at laughing at ourselves. 🙂

he had no clue. He knew which finger, no clue which hand. he said afterwards that “I just hoped you knew since you girls always know these things!”. I extended my left hand towards him after we kissed and I said yes.
during the ceremony, he got the correct hand, but he was trying to put on my engagement ring and wedding band at the same time the wrong way around so I don’t know if the video caught it, but I definitely had to nudge him to flip the order xD

He went for the right, but I pulled it away and he got it lol

He just gave me the ring and I put it on myself. I was excited but he waited for me to do it, not because he didn’t know how, but because grabbing a woman’s hand and putting the ring on it is not always part of a proposal.

No, but when we got married I told him he put out the wrong hand during the ring part, and he didn’t! I was confused, ha! Here’s a pic of us laughing at that exact moment. 🙂

I took it and put it on myself lol.
