Im just wondering if you had worn your hair up or styled in a special way did you have problems with it falling out after a while? I wore my hair in a side braid and it was really pretty but after a couple hours it kept falling out a bit and we had our ceremony outside, it was half snowing half rainy at the time so my hair style got wet etc. Im really hoping it wont show in the pictures but I kind of regret my hairstyle now even though it was pretty in the beginning >.<
what about you?

I’m not married yet but I had several up do’s in high school for prom, semi-formal, homecoming, etc.
There were several occassions where I got my hair done at, like, 10am and the dance wasn’t over til midnight and my hair was STILL perfect.
In fact, most of the time I was able to go to sleep and it was still partially in tact when I woke up the next morning. (one time it was still so perfect the next morning I went to the grocery store and to a winter concert with it still “done”).
So through dancing, sweating, (and even sleeping), you should be fine. As long as your hair stylist knows what s/he is doing and uses enough pins/hairspray, you should be golden.

I think this will depend alot on your hair and the hair style. A friend of mine has very thick hair and anytime her’s is curled and pinned it does not last more than a few hours, three-four at best. MINE however is on the thinner/baby fine side, and with proper pinning nad product will last through a night at the clubs through the next afternoon!!

@MrsTee: mine was half up and didn’t stay up as much as I wanted

I had mine all up and it didn’t budge. I had it done around 8:30 am and also switched my veil for the reception. I slept on it that night and in the morning it was still good enough to keep in, so I kept it that way for the flight all the way to Hawaii.

Mine was in an updo and it didn’t fall out at all!

Hairspray and a ton of bobbypins and most hairstyles stay in way after your wedding…then that night you get to play “find the bobby piin game” with your husband.

I did mine half up and ended up throwing it in a ponytail by like 9. In retrospect I should have just done an updo because it was super windy that day, but I had already had my trial and my heart set on the look, so meh. It looks okay in the pictures since they were mostly taken at the beginning of the night lol.
