Did your LO use a bouncy seat and a swing?

    I had a swing and my DD loved it. Got good use out of it! Never tried the bouncy chair though.

    It’s so hit or miss..some kids love or hate both.

    we had both. Used the bouncer until she was about 4 months and then she started to love her swing.

    I bought a used baby swing yesterday and I plan to register for a bouncer too. Swings can be pretty expensive (around $200) so I figured I’d be more likely to get a bouncer as a shower gift than I would a swing. Plus I got a great deal…it was only $25. 🙂

    @nickels:  We haven’t set it up yet, but in the store it didn’t look like it took up much more space than your typical swing. There are definitely smaller footprint swings out there (ones that only swing one direction…etc, but I’ve heard that most babies spend a lot of time in their swing, so we wanted to get one that was substantial and had all the bells and whistles.
