my mom did but my "bachelor party" consisted of a sleepover with some wine and a lot of food. LOL
My bachelorette party is Thursday...and my mom and FMIL are invited. Granted, we're just doing pedicures and dinner, so yeah, not the "typical" wild party!
@UpstateCait: My Mum did. We went to the horse races, a meal and then some dancing.
My mom and MIL went out with us - we went to bars, drinking, and dancing! We had a blast - it was kind of a "transition" that I'm really glad that we did!
lol my mom will not. She would be done after one wine cooler. Mr. Tattoo's step mom probably will, but his step mom is young enough to be my moms daughter. He has a young family. HIs step mom is the same age as my older sister. 38. My mom is 60. His grandmother is the same age as my mother. His dad is 39.
My bachelorette was almost exactly like yours. An day of wine tasting, then dinner and a comedy club. My mom attended through the comedy club, then went back to her hotel room as my girls and I headed out to a couple bars. I wanted my mom to come and have fun with the "girls day." I did not invite my FMIL because she stresses me out and lives far away.
@rachel077: I think my mom and aunt will karaoke. Not so sure about FMIL! :)
My FMIL is invited and so are all of the elder ladies in my family that I'm close with. I'm doing a sort of typical party I guess. We rented the party room at a trendy martini bar and having food catered in. After we do dinner we are having a toy/lingerie party. It may be a little awkward but I'm hoping FMIL leaves before the toy party if not then oh well maybe it will be a bonding experience as we are not very close.
Nope not mine. I also want to do the typical stagette but I drink, I curse, I act like a fool I don't need parentals involved.
From what I know about the b-party, we will be going to get mani/pedis then out to eat then hitting the town and staying at a bridesmaid's house. I believe my mom is coming with us out to eat and that's it.
Nope, negative on them attending my bachelorette party - while all we did was go to a piano bar and out dancing, I wanted to party hard and would feel weird if my mom was watching me take shots lol.
But, my mom and aunt came out to party with me when I graduated college & my mom & another aunt came out with a bunch of us to a bar the night before the wedding - so although not the bachelorette party, its still fun to hang out and party with mom
I didn't have a bachelorette party, but when I was my sister's MOH a few years ago, my mom and my half siblings' mom attended her bachelorette and it was a good time...but my mom got way. too. drunk. she was that girl after like two drinks...but you know your mom/FMIL the best, if you think they will have a good time, then go for it! :)

I'm sure this varies greatly depending on what kind of activities you're partaking in (and your relationships) but did your mom/FMIL/other older female family member participate in your bachelorette party? My MOH has invited my mom, FMIL and aunt to mine and I sincerely hope that they come.
The typical bachelorette is totally not my style. The absolute last thing that I want to do is have some questionable chippendale gyrate in my face as I'm sipping a mojito through a penis straw. Instead, my girls and I will be going wine tasting at a local winery, then we'll hit up a comedy club for dinner & drinks and finally conclude our evening singing karaoke at the gay bar. This, my friends, is my perfect bachelorette party and I think it's something that my mom/FMIL/aunt would absolutely love.
So, did your "elders" participate in your bachelorette? If so, what did you do?
