Did your pregnancy go by slowly or quickly?

I can relate to what you are saying. I found that the first 12 weeks went by very slowly, especially (sorry to say it) weeks 6-12. The first few weeks were super exciting, but I was very nervous for those weeks up until we had our NT scan. After that, I have found that everything is going much quicker – telling frineds/family made a big difference, the belly starts to really pop and then it’s just a lot of stuff going on! We are 27 weeks now and can’t believe we have 13 ish weeks to go. it has definitely gone faster in the second trimester. I think there is also a lot more to do in the 2nd tri, more tests, more appointments, nursery planning, registering, looking into prenatal classes/hospitals/birth options etc… keeps you busier. 🙂 Hang in there and I hope you feel better!!

I’m 12w1d and it’s dragging.  I think partly because I don’t feel well and partly because I’m excited to find out the gender and start getting a real bump.  Once those things happen, I’m betting it’s going to fly by!

Both!

I’m 34 weeks, and I feel like I just found out I was pregnant, but at the same time, I feel like I’ve been pregnant FOREVER. The weeks drag by, but the 9 months fly by so fast. I’m sad it’s almost over 🙁

Both! First trimester went by slow, mainly because I found out when I was a little less than 4 weeks along, and we didn’t even tell our parents until 8 weeks. Third trimester also felt slow especially towards the end – but now that I’m not pregnant anymore, it feels like it went by fast.

Just wait until you have your baby; I can’t believe my little man is almost a month old already! I feel like I just had him.

I found that my pregnancy as a whole went by very fast but there were definitely some parts that dragged a bit.  The first trimester went a little slow but I feel like the second trimester flew by, especially once I was able to tell everyone and once we found out the gender.  I’m 38 weeks now and this is where I feel like time stopped a bit again..

The first month or so and the last month or so felt like an eternity.  Everything in the middle flew by.

I felt like everything went SUPER fast until I got to week 30. At that point, it FELT like having my son was right around the corner . . . but 10 weeks is a long time! If someone told me they were going on vacation in 10 weeks I’d be like ugh, sucks to wait, huh? I would NOT say “Oh, vacation in 10 weeks, that’ll be here in no time!”

So yeah. At the time, my pregnancy seemed to drag. Now I look back and it’s like a blip.

@hspw714:  Ugh, 6 weeks here too and I’m TERRIBLE at waiting!!!  It seems to me that the weekdays have been going in reverse but the weekends are over in the blink of an eye!

The first 13-14 weeks went so slowly, as we weren’t out and talking about it yet. I’m now at 34 weeks and its like SLOW DOWWWWN! I have so many things to do… not sure how this popped up on me!

The second tri goes by in a blink!

The first trimester went by incredibly slow but ever since we announced to friends and family at 14 weeks, time seems to be flying by.

I’m 28 weeks and still finding things slow.  9 months really seems like a long time!  I keep having to remind myself to enjoy the last few weeks of silence at home since life will forever change, but I really can’t help just getting excited for that change!!!
