I’m trying to figure out a way to have my brother involved in the wedding ceremony, and I need your help! We’re having a tiny bridal party (my sister will be my MOH and FI’s sister will be his “best woman”), but I want to involve my brother in the ceremony as well. We’ve never been that close, but he’s still my brother and I feel that he should play some sort of role. So, I’m looking for reading suggestions!
I’d like something this is a bit humorous but ultimately sweet. Nothing religious and nothing too emotional.

Not at my wedding, but my brother’s wedding, I read a (very short) children’s book called “A Lovely Love Story”. It worked perfect for him and my SIL – he’s a giant child at heart (and in behavior sometimes, hah) and she is a pediatrician and adores children.
It’s a little bit silly, but actually very poignant and has lots of “adult” things in there that are still very kid-appropriate (like a pixar movie).

TGold: I was MOH at my sister’s wedding, but I did read the poem on page 32 of julies1949: from “A collection of wedding readings” and it brought tears to some peoples eyes. I plan on using it at my own wedding and I am considering having my cousin who’s wedding I read it for read it for mine 🙂

My brother is doing a reading, but we are having a Catholic ceremony, so he’s doing the First Reading. Sorry, I can’t be more of a help!

I have one brother and DH has one sister and, while we wanted them involved, we already had friends lined up for the wedding party. So our siblings were our witnesses, for the legal part. Their names are on our wedding cert for ever!

My brother did a reading at my wedding. Something from the bible, lol, sorry I can’t be of much help. It was a nice way for him to be involved in my wedding.
