Maybe it's male PMS, I don't know. But did any of your men get stressed and snappy before he proposed?! My SO has had a short fuse the last few days. And he admitted the ring will be coming along really soon. This attitude is just soooo not him....

YUP he sure did! I think he was probably a big ball of emotions and stress..heck I would be too if I was asking such an important question!

I hope this is it for you!
I can't tell you if my DH was like that because we got engaged without planning for it... However, it's well possible that this makes him nervous a little bit! I'd probably address that later on though, because if he's so short while stressed on positive things, what will it be later on when negative stress occurs?

Yeah, a little. I had the flu and he wanted to go out of town and propose that weekend, I was not into going anywhere.  He was so "I need to get the hell outta Dodge" that I went along with it.

Actually yes!  We were planning on going to check out the City during the Olympics (we're in Vancouver) on our anniversary.  I invited my parents to come along, knowing that they would enjoy it.  And he got SOO pissy about it.  He normally has no issue with my parents, so I was wondering why he was giving me a hard time!  I obviously learned that it was because he had planned to propose!  He asked my parents permission while I was in the bathroom, and the fained being tired and headed home awhile later hehe.

Hmm, not that I noticed, I didn't really know he was planning to propose when he did. He kind of was hinting at it, like months and months in advance so I definitely didn't know when to expect it. It was a day after our anniversary :)

I got engaged two days ago (yay!) and Teddy was actually extra affectionate...said I love you a little bit more than usual and was just a little bit more mushy with the romantic stuff...so no pms for my man...

Noo but I did :( It was the last day of finals and I was in a terrible mood- he suggested we go to the park and walk it off!

Actually, he was really giddy for a day or two beforehand! I don't remember beyond that, because I wasn't expecting it for a little while.

Mine was a little nervous, but sweet, not very grumpy at all. I'm sure he'll share what's going on eventually.  :-)

mine was also very very affectionate, a little hyper..and also a total space cadet. like, misplaced his phone, keys, clothes, wallet, car (j/k) in the 10 days leading up to the proposal. he proposed in costa rica and almost forgot his passport (i then held onto it for the rest of the trip).

Mine started helping me with the laundry.

Of course, only because he hid the ring in his sock drawer.

he proposed to me on vacation in front of both our families..it was our first dual family vacation............and our last. lol

I attributed the aggravation to the stress of dealing with certain situations he was forced in. Poor guy..

    but yes! he did!
