Changing reception songs that you think will make EVERYONE happy, worrying if they will like the music. Sending reminders on time wedding party needs to be present for photos/preparation. Did or have you surrendered to the fact that it’s happenening and to stop sweating the details?

Heck yes. I was so fed up with particular issues. I told FI that I just didn’t care anymore and literally didn’t talk wedding for the longest time. But you get back into the swing of things eventually. =)

YES. We took frequent breaks from planning back in our wedding planning days. Sometimes stepping away is necessary!

I had four months to plan my wedding. I baically showed my event coordinator my pinterest and told him to have fun. He was someone that had done events for my family in the past and I trusted him. I had no idea how the flowers and decorations were going to look until I showed up the day of the wedding. He stuck to me and my FI’s style and it was perfect. I was so glad I let go. I was able to enjoy the day much better.

Yes, a few months ago, I took a break from planning and didn’t do anything wedding related for weeks. It felt good and I felt refreshed when I went back to planning, with renewed energy.
