I am so excited about my dress and wanted to share!!

I haven't stopped smiling since it arrived :) This fits everything I was looking for when I first started dress shopping but I tried on so many dresses and kept getting swayed from my original vision. I'm so happy I stayed true to what I was looking for. I just love how I feel in this dress and can't wait to wear it!

I bought a sample so it doesn't fit quite right yet but here are a few pics from my first fitting:

Thanks for all the kind comments! The designer is Carolina Herrera.

Its actually the very first dress I tried on. But the empire waist style wasn't the most flattering style and my family vetoed the dress. After trying on tons of wedding dresses, I couldn't get this dress out of my head. So I contacted a bunch of salons and found a sample for 70% off! I just added a sash to give more shape at the waist and I love it :)

I found the dress at L'elite in Boston. It was the very first dress I tried on. When I finally decided this dress was the one, Lelite no longer had the sample available. So I contacted all the bridal salons I could find who carried Carolina Herrera and ultimately purchased the sample gown from a salon in Toronto. Luckily it was in perfect condition. If you're looking for more info on bridal salons in MA you can PM me and I would be happy to share.

That...is just amazing. Literally breathtaking. I'm not surprised AT ALL that you're excited about it (and this is from a girl iwth a completely different style of dress, a picture of which I have up on my wall, because I'm a ginormous dork. I understand excited.)
