The only things that technically match are the fonts and colors...but, they both have a more fun, modern vibe!
yeppers, ours will match... not exact, but will have the same exact elements, colors, look and feel.
Ours have the same font, but that's about it. The STD has a lot more color than the invite, but that's because the invites are letterpress and color=$$. I don't think it really matters since the STD is considered a more casual correspondence -- it's nothing official!
The only way mine will match is that they're in the same color family. I always wonder if people will notice and care about it.
Ours hardly matched. The only thing that I kept similar was the colour... I just added a pink border to incorporate our wedding colours.
Both of ours have bicycles on them, but they look completely different (STD was from WeddingPaperDivas and Invitations designed by a relative).
mine did not match at all.. im having a destination wedding so for STDs i did a passport invite and for my wedding im doing a more formal look with lace (to match my dress)
Yay! I am glad to hear I am not the only one :) We did a STD magnet that is fairly casual...I am hoping to mount it on paper that will be more match to our invites to help tie things together...I can't wait for them to come in so I can see what I can conjure up!
I am actually worried that ours will look too similar, since I pretty much just have one idea that I'm really liking, and am trying to make sure the invitations are different enough to look special.
Ours are not going to match at all. Our invites are going to be letterpress and pretty formal, so the STDs are where I wanted to have some fun and have them be funny and whimsical.
At the time we did our STDs, I had already picked out our wedding colors, so we used those colors in the STDs and will use them on the formal invitations as well. But the invitation fonts, layout, and paper will be much more formal...
The colors are similar as I got the paper and printing from the same company, but otherwise they are pretty different.
when we were doing the bigger wedding, they matched, never got to sending the invites out tho before wepostponed
I think they'll be similar in tone and feel, but I'm hoping our invites will be letterpress and I'll make our STDs
mine will have our picture on it so its not gonna look anything like the invites which are formal.
Not exactly, but I think they go together.

We haven't done either yet, but I don't think they'll match...like...they may be the same colors, since we'll probably go with our wedding colors, but beyond that I'm not too concerned about it all matching!
Nope, not matching! I found a great design for each and they don't match at all but I don't think people will notice too much. This way I get to do 2 of my ideas!
Ours arent going to match at all except for the fact that our invitations will probably have green somewhere in them and our STDs are green with white and black

Just curious how many of you had your STDs match your invites. Ours won't be matching....our STDs are more casual. I want the invites to be fancy and to flow with our vineyard wedding theme.
