So we are finally getting around to replacing my placeholder ring and the setting that Fiance likes the most is a 1ct solitare on a 2.5mm band. I’d like to have it on a 2mm band, it .5 isn’t going to kill me. Anyway the band that matches it is 1.5mm.
Will this look weird? They don’t have a picture of the two together on the website and so I can’t tell… Anybody else with mis matched band sizes?

my engagement ring is a 4mm and wedding band is 2.5mm

oh my lord- sorry so big!

It doesn’t look weird and nobody will notice. I think the fact that one is all diamonds and the other is just plain metal makes the difference unnoticeable and irrelevant.

@crayfish: We are going with a plain band (I should have said that in the OP), which is why I was thinking it might look weird, with nothing else to distract the eye from it.

I dont think it will look wierd at all. My mom’s wedding band is thinner than her e-ring and it looks great, and i’m planning to do the same. But its definitely about your personal preference

I don’t think it’ll look weird either.
My ring width’s are around 3mm and 2mm. They look perfect together. I think it depends how YOU feel about it though. Some have a problem and some don’t or even prefer it.
