does anyone have or have seen pictures of different colored BMs dresses that would peacock type of colors i have one Maid/Matron of Honor and 3 BMs and i wanted to do 4 different colors all in taffeta and knee length in grass green, teal, royal blue and rich purple what does everyone think is it tacky… please give honest opinions good or bad and or some suggestions

I think a similar color scheme was suggested in the 2009 Real Simple Weddings book:

I think if they are all in the same family, it could look really good. Try experimenting with paint chips to get the right grouping before going out and finding the dresses.

I had other pictures with more green/jewel tones but I can’t find the atm. This gives an idea of different colours in the same tone. I’ve seen lots of non-matching colours that look great. Get samples you can look at together.

These aren’t peacock colored, but one of my friends did an AWESOME job with her different colored bridesmaid dresses and flowers. It looked so amazing!
I always thought these were awesome AND come in the colors you are looking for AND the ladies will love them because they aren’t bridesmaid-dress-ey!

i am also thinking of having different color brides maids dresses, mine are going it be differenet: fuchsia and royal blue…should be interesting!
