For our tables we ar eusing things we love. Then we will print out all of the names on one sheet in hopes to get laughs. I.e.
She loves: Animals-He loves: Hunting One table would be called animals the other hunting ect.
She loves: Chocolate milk-He loves: Beer
She loves: Him-He loves: Her cheeseburgers
She loves: Fishing-He loves: Fishing (Head table)
This is the only humor we are actually throwing into our wedding (other than the fact that his grooms “cake” is going to be a three tiered cake tray of wings..served to him for dinner of course)
The idea was to have favors related to each table name…so for animals we can have animal crackers (or something better) for the “him” table (which will be his name) I could have a picture of him. For the cheeseburgers…not sure BUT you get the point!
Do you think this would be cheesy? or expensive? OR just all rogether a bad idea? lol I am really not sure how I feel about it yet. I need other opinions. I haven’t really tried to make it work yet, so I am a little lost on where I can go with this. THANKS LADIES!

I do see where you are going with this, but It can be a bit tricky to pull off. Especially the “HIM” table, because I dont think a picture of him really counts as a favor

@bells: agreed. Also, some people are gonna go the childish route and think “wish I’d been sitting at THAT table! look what THEY got!” And then try to trade and/or pout that their’s isn’t as good/cool/awesome as another table….

Agree with what the other two said, this could also get expensive because it’s a lot cheaper to buy something in bulk than it is to just buy a few items.

@Zinzerena: I was worried about that. I am sure someone will be unhappy with what they got.
@bells: The picture of him would be a joke. I was going to put it at his friends table. I am sure they wouldn’t count it as a favor either.
@BeSeeingYou: yeah you are probably right about the cost.
THANKS ladies. It was helpful. I agree with all of the points you brought up! I didn’t think of some of them myself. This is why I ask. I will have to come up with something else.

Instead you could have a table where your guests could choose their own favors and incorporate things that you both enjoy.
We had 2 kinds of favors to let our guests choose; we did half vanilla extract and half vanilla sugar for those that don’t bake and to incorporate my husband’s likes, we used guitar picks as hang tags.
Here is my post if you need a visual
