I am currently in the process of doing a sample invite.
The actual color of the card stock is the blank sheet shown, the printed ones are done with extra card stock i had, just to make sure it printed correctly. The red for the lettering i am going to make a darker red and the accommodations form will be red ad well i accidently forgot to change the color before i printed.
When it came time to do my save the dates my mom bought me supplies. White envelopes and white precut card stock and i found design i liked, that matched our color scheme and incorperated it in.
Our colors are brown and burnt orange, a deep red and ivory.
This is just a botched save the date that i had lying around that was easy to grab to photograph.
Do you think the std’s and invites work well together?
The main reason for this post is
A. on the std envelopes i did the addresses in deep red as shown on the std, I have brown envelopes for my invites and originally was going to do a white or off white, well off white shows up yellow and i can not get white to print on the envelopes for some reason it prints out blank. Deep red won’t show up well either.
My next option is should i do the addresses in a burnt orange?
I don’t want to do labels either, it looks fancier printed out.
B. I just realized i printed out my save the dates in the wrong font. How could i have made that mistake? o well they have been sent out for months now. The std envelopes are the font i wanted. The correct font in shown on the sample invites. The J’s in our names are different.
Do you think anyone would notice?
