Are there high quality and low quality CZs?
I bought a cz ring a few years ago for about $10 – $15 at JC Penney and the stone was cloudy within a year. I didn’t wear it much.
I have to conclude that those choosing cz stones are getting much higher quality products than the one I had. Yes?

You can certainly spend more on a cz than that so I would presume that there must be some difference in quality.
My best friend and I bought matching rings together about halfway through my first year of uni (a friendship ring if you will), that was coming up to 4 years ago? The rings are cz and sterling silver and cost a whopping £12.99 each. We both wear our ring every single day and neither are at all cloudy.
I also own other cz jewellery that’s a lot older and I never really wear and I’ve never noticed that to be cloudy either, so perhaps there is an element of luck? And you were rather unfortunate with your stone?
