I've never heard of this! I just read the wikipedia page and when I read that they fill the eggs with bird seed for a wedding I instantly had a picture of birds swooping down, pecking the brides head for seed!
Cute idea tho! Is there a way to do it without actually cracking them over your head? That way you wouldn't get messy and your hair wouldn't get ruined
@sand: well with little kids at easter you would just crack them in your hand and sprinkle the confetti on them....but I know my family would not be able to handle that! LOL....not after all those years of Easter where we used to sneak up on each other!
@lrwedd: What a great Easter tradition! I wish my family did something cool like that instead of just the traditional nap after dinner haha
