I love your ring choice!  My ring is similar and I think it’s a very classic style.  I don’t think anybody has ever told me they thought the setting was non-traditional.  I get more comments about the aquamarines on the side being unusual 🙂

Naw, people will be fine. I have an emerald as my solitaire and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments!

Why on earth would anyone look down on you for having 3 diamonds instead of 1?! I have a 3 stone emerald cut and I love it!!

@Ibblet:  I think the 2 most popular styles are solitare and 3 stone rings. 3 stone definitely isn’t “non traditional”

i love 3 stone halo rings

Something like this would be a bit more untraditional

But, no matter what ring you want, no one should look down on you. And if they do, they suck

I was engaged years ago and had a 3 stone ring… Now I have a solitaire with small stones on the band. I can’t say that anyone thought either one was an odd choice. I personally like the style of my current ring now though.

@Ibblet:  honestly I think this is a super common style, but even if it were really out there, if you love it other people’s opinions shouldn’t matter (y)

There’s nothing “look-down-worthy” about 3-stones! They are a classic… maybe not as classic as a solitare, but they’re the next most classic. It’ll never go out of fashion!

I don’t have a three-stone, but I seriously considered one. You have nothing to worry about, this isn’t a “controversial” ring 🙂

its quite common in the Uk.. my mum and great grandma had 3 stones, because of that past present future tie…

Go for it! I never considered them til recently, but they just seem to suit 🙂 and who cares what anyone thinks anyways.. Tongue Out

I have a three stone and love it – I tried on solitaires and didn’t like them so much, felt the 3 was much more sparklier. 😉

Lots of my friends have three stones. I think they are lovely.
