(Closed) Different types of prongs for princess cut stones?

I’ d say just protect the four corners and you are good too many prongs take way from a diamond! And Good luck with your ring!

@lavenderstone:  I have a princess cut in the centre of a halo, mine has 2 on each corner just on either side of the actual corner.  I haven’t been able to get a good picture of it but I love the way it looks.

@lavenderstone:  This is the most common prong on princess cuts: 

 

Then there’s the V prong (my personal favourite because it accentuates the shape of the stone nicely)

I have a princess cut diamond with double prongs in a halo setting..the prongs sit on each side of the corners
