I have seen some beautifully tied sashes, although I'm never good at tying them myself. Here is a link to a picture of a sash that's not tied in a bow, it's kind of a cool alternative. Best Wishes!

Here's another sash that is really simply tied.
Also, could you posiibly connect the sash with a brooch or pin-on flower? You wouldn't have to tie it, and it would be really beautiful.

My dress has a very lovely silk sash that ties in the back.
The problem is - I hate bows. Just hate them.
Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to neatly tie the sash in the back (or jury-rig it or DIY it) so that I have an elegantly tied, without an unsightly bow?
I was experimenting with tying it in a knot that is used for men's ties... but I still wasn't loving it.
