My sister (my MOH) is wearing a different dress from my other 3 BMs (same color/fabric, different style). This was my sister's idea--she wanted to stand out.
I am the MOH in my sister's wedding and my dress is a slightly different style (same fabric). I am also wearing a brooch at my waist instead of the sash the BMs will be wearing.
I'm no help, I haven't done anything to differeniate her from the rest. I just don't want to. If I were though, I'd only do subtle differences. I am into symmetry and all that so when the MOH is wearing a completely different dress, it throws it all off for me. It can still look pretty, I just don't love the look. But a different color sash, or something less obvious is nice.
I'm going to put her in different shoes!! We're looking for a print shoe that would go with the dresses, while my other girls will be in silver shoes!! Hope this helps :]
I'm not sure how I will be doing mine, probably just a different bouquet. In the past I have seen MOH's with the same dress but a different accent color (like a sash, or trim), and with a larger bouquet full of slightly different flowers. In the recent wedding I was in, the Bride incorporated a lot of white into the MOH's attire: white belt on the dress, mostly white flowers, etc.

How did you (or are you) planning to set your MOH apart from the rest of the bridesmaids?
Different dress, flowers, something extra that she's wearing?
I need inspiration!
