I asked one of my best friends to be a bridesmaid, only problem is she lives 7 hours away…so all the planning is done through email/phone and facebook. The bridesmaids dresses will take some time to come in so they have to be ordered 6 months in advance, but she says she isn’t comfortable ordering her dress yet because she is planning to lose a bunch of weight. What do I tell her to convince her that this has to be done now!?

Did the store/seller give you a date for when you need to have ordered the dresses? If so, I’d tell her that and then leave it up to her. Ultimately, getting the dress is her responsibility, so I think you should pass on all the relevant information to her and then relieve yourself from having to worry about it.

I would just tell her to either 1. Order her current size and have alterations or 2. Have her order a size smaller and hope for the best. Good Luck!

Wow, she’s cutting it way too close! Maybe order it in her size and tell her to pay you back?
