have you tried
http://www.1001freefonts.com/calligraphy-fonts.php
I have used this resource for a ton of different projects.
Alls you have to do is download your selelcted font, unzip the folder and copy and paste the font file into the fonts directory. Well thats for windows anyway. Not sure is Mac is different. I'm pretty sure the site has detailed instructions.
1001 freefonts is great, also dafont.com. There is a font on dafont.com called Jellyka, Saint Andrews, it is a funky calligraphy font but when printed on an envelope actually looks handwritten (to me at least).

I was reading my new book The Wedding Book where she talks about finding digital calligraphy online. Has anyone found good websites that you can purchase a calligraphy font? I'm not really sure how this process works. I'm not sure if I'm looking for a fancy font, or more of a calligraphy-esque font. I definitely do not want to have a real person do them for me and would like to DIY on the computer.
Thanks Bees!
