You can make chili with ground turkey. Just find any chili recipe and sub the turkey for beef.

These are all good ideas. Turkey burgers are good too and casseroles. Just look up hamburger recipes and substitute turkey.

I wish FI wanted to eat ground turkey more!!  I could eat it every day and he's maxed out!

I do a veggie stir-fry kind of thing - saute onions and garlic - add the ground turkey - and then throw in whatever veggies I have around (carrots, squash, mushrooms, spinach), etc.  I spice it up with either fresh herbs (rosemary, basil) and throw in some red pepper flakes, if I want a little kick.

I use it for tacos, and it is also really good for quesadillas. Cook the meat and mix it with lots of onion, peppers, green chillis, corn, and beans. use it as quesadilla filling with a little cheese. mm.

Turkey Chili Recipe: https://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10052&catalogId=1&productId=684997  It tastes WAY better the next day, so I always make it the day before I plan on serving it for dinner.

Oh boy my FI is a picky eater too.  I just switched him off red meat to ground turkey.  He actually likes it better.  Anything you would make with ground beef you can put turkey in.  Chili, spagetti, tacos.  Meatloaf is great with turkey.  Also I really enjoy stuffed bell peppers.  I make it with brown rice, ground turkey, and some tomato sauce.  Mix it all up, stuff it in, and bake with some cheese on top.  (check online for a recipe because you must cook the peppers first but it is all pretty darn easy).  Lasagna can be made with turkey.  I really just go back and say just anything that has beef in it you can use turkey.  One idea is to check out weight watchers recipes because eveeryone on there uses turkey instead of beef.

Tacos and chili.  We NEVER buy ground beef.  Try recipes.com for ideas.  You can search on ground turkey OR ground beef.

Tambor de Papa. Or Mashed Potatoes Drum.

Basically you cook ground turkey and mashed potatoes. Then in an oven-safe bowl you layer mashed potatoes, turkey, and grated cheese. And pop in the oven (or microwave) for like 15 minutes.

I haven't been able to eat beef for years. ANything that can be made with ground beef can be made with ground turkey.

Burgers, tacos, meatballs, chili, pasta dishes, meat loaf (may need another meat because turkey is somewhat dry).

Turkey Chilli is really good (esp with lots of veggies and spices).

It seems that the ground turkey in chilli takes a bit longer to take on the flavor (unlike beef which soaks up the flavor of anything really quickly).  So it is usually best made with lots of spices and served after it has either cooked for a long day or served the following day.

Wow I wish my hubby would accept the ground turkey so easily. He's not a very picky eater, but he can always tell when I've changed out the beef for the turkey and calls it good, but better with beef! I love using http://allrecipes.com/

My husband adds it to our veggie chili recipe.

I also got a great recipe for Turkey Broccoli Lasagne Roll ups.

I don't have it with me, but it's essentially ground turkey, broccoli, ricotta cheese, and cooked lasagne noodles.  You put all the ingredients with some seasoning into the center of a cooked lasagne noodle, wrap it up and bake it w/ tomato sauce on top.

I am making mine with Tofu instead of turkey.  Sounded yummy to me!

I use ground turkey all the time.  The BF is especially fond of Shepard's Pie, made with ground turkey, spinach (instead of peas), and mashed sweet potatoes (instead of regular mashed).

    YUMMY!!
