i'm doing both (invite and website). if you are having your ceremony and reception in two different places, i'd recommend putting directions/map on your programs.
i'm including a directions card only bc after talking to a few people, i've found that some will throw the invite away but keep the directions card and take it with them to the ceremony/reception. so i thought including a separate card was valuable. however, if your ceremony/reception sites are easy to find, i think you could probably skip it.

i am diy my invitations....do you really need to include directions, or can i just put the address and directions on my webpage. i will have my webpage address on my invites for the rsvping already.
