Could you put it in a welcome bag when they check in to the hotel? Or how about not putting it in the pocket but just in the envelope? eh, maybe that last one wasn't a good idea, just a thought!
You may also want to consider putting the directions on your website, if you have one. You could also consider emailing them to your guests.
Well, you could always have the card outside of the invitation suite if you want to include it. I would probably forgo including it and maybe having another card that points to your website (if you have one), where they can get directions.

I really don't want to fold the direction card. The invitation comes with pockets, and the direction card are printed from the venus, but its' too big. If I fold it would it look weird? Anyone have this problem? What are my options?
