Directions for clear light curtain seen in Macy's Xmas commercial??

I recently saw a gorgeous room dividing curtain made out of what appeared to be clear Christmas lights in one of the new Macy's holiday commercials. However, when they showed an up-close shot, the strands did not look like Christmas lights at all. To anyone who has seen the commercial, do you have an idea of how to make this?
