I have a kind of simple question for the hive.

Our venue is kind of tricky to find and all but 5 of our guests will be coming from out of state, and the 5 that aren't have never been to our venue (it's back in the woods! :)). I can't decide how to get driving directions to our guests. They are on our website, but I'm afraid that people won't write them down or print them out or even LOOK for that matter. I can't do a simple pretty map like most people do because the directions are very different depending on the direction you are coming from and I don't know which direction guests will be coming from, but I don't want to have a 2 8.5 x 11 page addition to our invitations.

If I knew everyone would check the website I'd just leave it alone, but we'll have older guests who probably won't use the website. We'll also have guests carpooling (which I LOVE) and I worry that nobody in the group will print directions.

Do I print out directions for everyone on plain copy paper & decorate it or do I just skip it all together and hope people check our website? Am I overthinking this too much?

I am in a similar situation, my wedding is in a difficult to find location.  I have decided to make three different "Directions" inserts for my invitations, one from the North, one from the West and one from the center of the town where the wedding is located (for the locals).  Each guest will get one of these inserts based on where they live.  I tried to make a map but I just couldn't get it right.

I decided to make my own invitations so it wasn't too difficult or costly for me to have different inserts for different invitations.

PS, I checked out your wedding venue, I've been camping in the catoctin mountains and they are beautiful!!
