Thank you for posting this; I was going to post something similar. I remember back in January someone posted links to used wedding dress sites, and I was really impressed with one. I can’t remember what it was for the life of me; it carried a lot of higher end designers and the interface was very clean and user friendly. I stalk oncewed and preownedweddingdresses, but I am unimpressed with recyled and bravo bride.

As far as discount but new stores, I have read about Jay’s Bridal being reputable.

In addition to those mentinoed above, there is also http://www.ebridalsuperstore.com and http://www.tomsbridal.com/ and http://www.plussizebridal.com (which carries more than just plus size but so far they are slowwwww on answering emails!) and there’s also Jay’s Bridal http://www.jaysbridal.com.

I would love to hear of any more you are aware of!

Please add links if you have found any similar sites!!  The dress I am very interested in has an MSRP of around $1200  and my budget has a cap of about $800 which is super maxed… so I’d like to of course see how low I can go.   I have been quoted $950 and $840 so far.  I would like to keep searching though, esp. because the dress I like is not something that will be commonly found second hand as it’s not going to be the choice for most.  Plus, most of these sites don’t even carry the designer (Venus).  It’s one that comes with a color option and it’s shown online in pink and white but I want blue and white and seriously doubt I will find that in my size on eBay or any of the preowned sites.
