Ugh I'm sorry :(
Last christmas my bf bought me a ring, but it wasnt the kind of ring I wanted lol. It was a silver ring from james avery.
Maybe he wants to wait and propose in Mexico??? that would be super romantic
I'm just worried because I'm going to graduate a semester later than I thought I would... I don't want him to wait an extra semester.
Mexico would be WAY romantic... I was just really excited about Christmas. I thought his hints were leading that way... but obviously not.
Maybe he is trying to throw you off. I think my bf is trying to throw me off and it gets pretty fustrating.
Do you really think he'd tell you? Like he'd say "Oh, you want hints? Well, it's sparkly, and comes in a tiny box, and ..." :) Men like to surprise us! :) I'm not saying he's going to propose, but when you think about it, those are the types of "hints" a guy would give even if he was going to propose.
@jhphi: I wish, but my boy knows he can't lie to me. I can always call him out. I would love it if this were the case, but I really think he'd just not give me hints or tell me the box is small. He didn't hesitate about my hints.
@truegem: Aww, yeah my boy is very vague when he talks about our timeline which is very frustrating for me.
sigh i wouldn't read too much into it, you know?! it sounds like he's still going to get a great gift for you and that's all that matters... this is my favorite time of the year and i'd LOVE a proposal on christmas (my dream as a child) but we'll see...
Maybe you'll be getting 2 gifts and he's trying to throw you off with these clues!

The boy and I just had our nightly phone call and I'm so disappointed, even though I know I shouldn't be.
We were talking about Christmas and birthday presents (Both of our birthdays are in December too) and I've been begging him for hints about mine because I was thinking he might propose for Christmas. My hints were that he might have to order it... from Target.... and that the box is about a foot and a half wide.
Definitely NOT a ring.
We still have about a year and a half before we were planning on getting married, and we're going on a cruise to Mexico this summer, which would be closer to the year I told him I wanted to plan (We want to get married pretty much right when I graduate, if not a little before). I was just SO excited because Christmas is my favorite time of year and it would be the perfect proposal to me. But, I know whatever he comes up with will be great... I'm just hoping he doesn't make me wait until NEXT Christmas.
