So several items on our registry are suddently discontinued – 2 weeks before the wedding. Some are still showing as ‘in stock and ready to ship’ others aren’t – so I assume they’re sold out. I really don’t have time to go pick replacement stuff now…I spend forever debating which knife I wanted in the first place…
I know it’s a fact of life, I know it’s not someone out to get me or anything like that, i’m just annoyed…

MsGinkgo: I keep getting emails telling me to register for more things… we reigstered for like 195 things and ‘only’ 63 have been purchased. I don’t think we’re going to run out of stuff. They email me probably 4 times a day. every.day.

springbride23: that’s crazy! we’ve only had 7 things out of about 100 items purchased but I’m not having a shower so I’m not really surprised. We just know that most of FH’s family will give us money/gift cards to buy what we want (his mother told us that’s what she’s telling them all to do – not something we asked her to do). we were just hoping to get some of this stuff in a few weeks but now it’ll probably all be gone

MsGinkgo: That sucks. I wish registries were more fun than they actually are. I dreaded the process of registering and maining the registry is annoying. As if we needed our potential gifts to stress us out while planning a wedding! :p

MsGinkgo: I agree with your rant! I had to change out our toaster and bowl sets. Ugh, I shouldn’t have to keep checking these things.

It’s annoying – I did ours online though, so at least I don’t have to GO IN somewhere to re-register. I check it probably once a month because things sell out so quickly.
