I've seen these, and the little girl in me wishes she had a chance to try one on. :) The snow white is stunning!
I didn't even know these existed, but they're so pretty! No one's going to know it's a Disney product unless you tell them, so don't worry about wedding guests thinking it's tacky. You'll just be a beautiful bride in a beautiful dress! Try them on, and if you feel great in one, go for it. :-)
It's actually a designer, Kirstie Kelly for Disney, and while all the dresses are inspired by specific female characters, there are simply some gorgeous dresses!
I loved two of the BM dresses but I wasn't sure how that would go down with my girls. I'd love to see them in person and check out the quality.
@gidgett: have you tried any on or know the pricing? I'm curious too!
I love those! No one has to know that they're Disney dresses, and if they make you feel beautiful, that's all that matters. Plus, who doesn't love a little nostalgia on their wedding day? :)
Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney movie of all time... so yeah, I saw the princess dresses right after I got engaged and totally considered them but ended up finding my dress before I had a chance to go to one of the few salons (nearby) that carry them.
@pinwheelspoprocks: I think they run $1,000-$3,000...which is way more than I want to spend, but my mom really wants me to try the dresses. If it were any other gown, she probably wouldn't even dream of paying that much, but she loves these, especially the Belle one!
These dresses are beautiful! I like them myself, as they are available in plus sizes as well.
There is nothing "little girl" about them--the prices reportedly range from $1500 to $4000. (!)
Haha. If anyone wants to take the Disney idea a little further, there's always this gown from Mariposa! You could look just like Belle on your wedding day (which I'll admit, I was dead set on doing when I was a little girl! Nothing but love for the first brunette princess!)
That Snow White gown is really, really pretty! If you want to wear one, go for it!!
I feel a little silly admitting this... but I think I like them MORE because they're Disney...
I remember seeing the collections when rumors started running about them, and each of the "princesses" had at least one dress that I fell in LOVE with.
Most brides want to feel like a princess on their wedding day... this would be the ultimate princess experience!
I can totally see that, Amester! I think I give special preference to the Belle and Sleeping Beauty dresses, just because they were my favorite princesses!
Honestly, Ariel is my favorite...but her dresses were not made for a short and curvy girl. But that Snow White gown...have to try that one on. :)
Yay Disney College Program Alum! I was Spring Advantage 2002 :) My FI and I met on the program!
I think the Kirstie Kelly dresses are georgeous and I would totally rock one as well...unfortunately they're a bit out of my price range. Good luck on your dress!
ooooomg. i didn't know these existed, but I absolutely love Snow White's gown. And I agree--unless you tell people it's a "Disney" gown, no one's going to know that it's anything but beautiful
I have wanted one since the day I learned they made them........as a Disney lover, wearing one would be a dream!
Wow, almost wish I'd known about these sooner! My fi is a HUGE disney princess fan.
those dresses are beautiful!
Yeah, I loved last year's Cinderella gown... but they're a little too much money.
Yay! For Disney. I worked there for 9 years. I would have loved to have my wedding there. I should have bought a "princess" dress. I'm planning on taking some e-pics with the princesses at Disneyland though.
Here are more dresses!!
I LOOOOOOVED the disney gowns!! I drooled over several. But I would have had to travel 10 hours just to try one on, and it was more than double what I really wanted to spend on my dress. But I still love 'em!
Kirstie Kelly for Disney Fairy Tale Wedding dresses are beautiful. There is a Kirstie Kelly salon in Brentwood California that carries all the dresses. I went in there with my mom and they were wonderful. They have many sample and overstock dresses for sale for reasonable prices. There's nothing on the dress that indicates that its a Disney dress. They are absolutely beautiful.

So I love the Disney gowns. Call me tacky, but I think they're gorgeous, and I'm a Disney College Program alum with a lot of fondness for my old park. There's couple of dresses in the collection I'm in love with:
Anyone else wearing, have worn, or even considering a Disney dress?
