Not had proposal yet, but did tell my BF last year while we were at WDW (& a glass of wine…or two) that he had to propose there.  We’re going in September, but I’m not holding my breath.

JEALOUS. I grew up in LA, so Disneyland is my favorite place in the world, but I definitely did not get a Disney proposal. (I did get a cannoli, so I was consoled.)

I like Disneyworld a LOT but Florida is soooo hot and humid anytime except for like January, and the only park I really love like crazy at Disneyworld is Magic Kingdom (I enjoy the other parks, but Disneyland main park and Magic Kingdom are my favorites). Add in the expense of flying to Orlando and getting a hotel on top of the rising park tickets, and I’d generally prefer just to hit Disneyland when I’m home in LA.

whattobee:  oooh yes! I went to DW one year in February and it was PERFECT–no lines, 75 degrees weather, still a little humid but it was awesome. I am so excited to see the new expansions! I just reread what I wrote and realized I made it sound like I don’t think DW is the best place ever, but obviously I love it, I just can’t go as much as I’d like because of how expensive it is.

The last time I went, the Fantasyland second expansion was underway–I can’t wait to see that when it’s finished! I did get to eat lunch in the Beast’s castle (it was so beautiful…and SO DELICIOUS…can you tell I love food).

I also love going to DW because of course I make a side trip to HARRY POTTER WORLD. My other great love.

Have an amazing trip and congratulations again! You’re a lucky girl!

Oh I love all the Disney stories. In my opinion the best place ever to get engaged. I shared our story when I joined but my fiancé was truly so thoughtful and he listened to everything I ever said about Disneyland.

I grew up going a ton to DisneyLand being from california. we live out of the state now but we had to go back for a wedding. He insisted we went to Disneyland and had a good room at the DLH with concierge and everything. Being the guy he is he had to throw me off and be a little douche so he gave me an Alex and ani and told me he didn’t want to get engaged yet even though everyone thinks we were. I cried but I was in Disney so I let it go and went on having a great day. He then wanted to walk around the castle and took me to a little private area and got down on one knee and popped the question. It was Perfect! I also got to use the pictures for my save the dates cause the employees took such great ones. I ran to get my jist engaged pin and we had champs waiting. ahh best day ever.

i just love all the stories. 🙂

whattobee:  what a sweet story!!

I am not engaged yet, but hopefully SO has picked up on my not so subtle hints that disneyland would the my dream ppace (but hey come on, il take anywhere) lol but seeing as we have our annual passes for disneyland and go quite often – it is a special place for us.

I follow disneyproposals on instagram and they are always posting really cute stories and photos. There was one on the bee recently about a tangled inspired proposal – not sure if you saw it but he led her to an opening in a forest or park that had glowing lanterns hanging everywhere and “Now that is see you” playing!! how cute!

Mine wasn’t at Disney (that’s not fully my style) but it did incorporate Disney elements even though it was a formal affair! He has kiss the girl playing and a few other things! It was perfect! Loveeee Disney!!

My fiancé and his family are HUGE Disneyworld people I’m talking they do something Disney affiliated every year ( New Disney resort in Hawaii is amazing by the way) this year we went to a Disney resort ( Vero Beach) for 5 days and had a cottage and he proposed to me at a super nice resturant And when we came back to the villa we had a mini celebeation that his family did for us! then we went to Disney World as newly engaged ouR villa was AMAZING three bed room, one media room, dining room living room, TVs in the mirrors, we could also see the fireworks from our balconys he told me the only reason he didn’t propose to me at this resort ( the grand floridian) is because his sister ( who was with us) got engaged AND married there and is currently going through a divorce but here are some photoS
